You will surely have noticed that the volume of your smartphone divided into several step, and that these steps vary depending on what you adjust the volume (calls, music, alarm clock). To continue with the installation of theXposed moduleyou will have to take a few short steps that will take you a couple of minutes at most, just like any application.

VolumeSteps + available only as a file .apk, it is possible to carry out thedownloadfrom the official page of the module. After having put it in a directory any of your smartphone, and after enabling the option to use theapplications with unknown originsyou can proceed with the installation of the application.

After installing the application you will have to activate the module from the area Forms Xposed by ticking it on VolumeSteps+and then proceed with restarting the device.

Once the application is installed, go to the appropriate menu you will find yourself in front of a screen where you can:

  • Change the number of alarm volume, music, ringtone and call steps.
  • Change the volume steps of the alert, in the case of earphones, to adapt to the new set value.
  • Deactivate thevolume warning too high in case you are using the earphones.
  • Set the music volume as the default volume of the Panel volume when the volume keys are pressed.

The volume steps can be changed separately and the settable value varies from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 50, after changing the steps it will be necessary to restart the device to make the changes effective. In addition, the application allows you to choose whether to display or not its icon in the launcher.
