Can't play YouTube videos in Safari after jailbreak? Here's how to solve it.
Many users after making the jailbreak, they reported a fairly recurring and very annoying problem. Browsing with Safari, you may not be able to view the video of YouTube present on the web page. In fact, by trying to click on the video, the screen below will appear:
But there is a remedy for everything. The guys from iDownloadBlog have managed to deal with this annoying problem. In principle, the solution would simply be to remove all those applications that could conflict with Safari, such as for example Pro Tube, but sometimes this may not be enough.
If the latter is your case, the fault of this bug can be attributed to the much loved function of SBSettings "Hide Icons"In fact, if you use Pro Tube, many users decide to hide the YouTube icon so as not to create confusion. By doing this, the Safari browser will not be able to play the video contained in the web page if it does not find the icon.
The guide to solve the problem, however, simple and fast:
- Open SBSettings;
- Go to the "More" section;
- Make sure that the native YouTube application is not hidden, if you make it visible;
- Finally perform a respring to apply the changes.
By following the guide the problem should be solved.
