TP Link announces the arrival in Italy of new products compatible with the WiFi 6 standard which will be added to the Archer AX11000 and AX6000 routers arrived on the Italian market at the end of 2019: these are Archer AX10, Archer AX50 and the Archer TX3000E network card.
Let's take a step back first. WiFi 6 was created to respond to the constant growth of the Smart Home phenomenon. At home, in fact, the wireless network now provides connectivity not only to smartphones, tablets and PCs, but also to TVs, sockets, surveillance cameras, thermostats, smart speakers, appliances and much more.
In the Internet of Things market, this segment is one of the most promising, but at the same time poses new challenges for the wireless network which must be able to manage a huge number of devices, ensuring optimal performance and therefore a better user experience for everyone.
From a technical point of view, WiFi 6 is faster than the previous generation and can reach 1.2 Gbps on a single stream, or 20% more than the classic Gigabit Ethernet cable connection. Furthermore, making use of advanced technologies this standard can better manage simultaneous communication to different devices and reduces the consumption of intelligent ones, increasing their autonomy.
TP-Link WiFi 6 products with WPA3 protocol promise high network security thanks to new password encryption processes and advanced protection against cyber attacks. As for the new devices, Archer AX10 a Dual Band router with a maximum speed of 1.5 Gbps, a Triple Core 1.5 GHz processor, 4 antennas with Beamforming technology, Gigabit ports for the wired network and compatibility with Amazon Alexa to facilitate management via voice command.
Archer AX50 designed for those who have to manage several simultaneous and very expensive activities in terms of bandwidth: the router in fact provides reliable and low latency connectivity for up to 256 devices, being able to reach 3 Gbps of maximum speed.
Archer TX3000E instead a WiFi 6 adapter, a small device to be installed on a PC to allow it to exploit all the power and performance of the new generation 802.11ax wireless standard. A great idea especially for gamers, who thanks to WiFi 6 can obtain high level and low latency performance by abandoning the traditional wired network.
The new devices will be available by March on the official TP-Link Amazon store with the following prices: Archer AX10 for 99.99 euros, Archer AX50 for 179.99 euros and Archer TX3000E for 49.99 euros.
