The English magazine T3 elects iPod touch gadget of the year
The votes were collected from May until September and now the verdicts of the Garmin T3 Gadget Awards 2008 are published on the website of the British magazine T3 dedicated to technology in general: from the best digital devices, passing through the most popular cars and motorcycles fascinating and expensive.
Once again the heart of the British was captured by Cupertino who collected 4 prizes, including Gadgets of the year, this time not attributed to the iPhone but to the more affordable iPod touch. It is interesting to note that Apple's multi touch reader has had the upper hand against rivals of the likes of Asus Eee PC, the TomTom Go 920 satellite navigator, the HDR-TG3 video camera and other prominent technological gadgets.
The other prizes collected by Apple are for the new 32 GB iPod touch voted as the best music gadget, a prize for the inevitable iPhone decreed as the best gadget for commuters, and finally the Gadget Candy prize at the MacBook Air.
Other awards include Sony PS3 in the high definition section, Sky HD as the gadget of the year for the home, the Sony XEL-1 television with OLED technology and the TomTom Go 930 navigator as the gadget you cannot live without. All prizes awarded are available on this page of the T3 website.
