New Analog-DV Converter from Canopus in December 
A new model of video converter transfers S-VHS, 8mm and Hi8 movies into digital movies ready for the FireWire port. The Canopus ADVC-100 converter has a 4-pole FireWire port on the front and a 6-pole one on the rear as well as analog connections on both sides.The manufacturer ensures, unlike competing products, a perfect one, as well as being great quality, synchronization between audio and video even in very long files, thanks to the Canopus DV codec which performs a "locking" operation of the audio track. It will go on sale from December to around $ 300.
