NAMM W2003: Sibelius presents G7 – Macitynet.it
Sibelius Group has announced at NAMM the launch of a new application dedicated to the guitar – G7. Developed to provide guitarists with new opportunities in notation and "tablature", G7 suitable for both beginners and professionals of the six strings, and allows you to create in fast and easy way of guitar scores. It allows you to scan scores and scores by scanner and convert them to edit them.
G7 also reads and saves in ASCII and MIDI format, so you can easily send and receive scores via email or via the Internet.
Some advantages in using G7: – guitarists can insert notes through an interactive neck, with the mouse, playing live (with MIDI pickup) or through the acquisition with scanner – the interactive guitar neck allows you to view the score in order to easily learn the fingering too – the songs can be saved as web pages to save them on the Internet or send them by e-mail-display of the tabs in different rhythmic styles-support of any type of tuning and number of strings-a pattern generator Automatically creates a drum score to facilitate song creation – a complete multimedia guide that allows guitarists to learn the different techniques of any genre, from metal to gospel to blues
