Macromedia is also preparing to enter the increasingly crowded market for multimedia presentation software.
To do this, the Californian company has acquired a small software house, called Presedia, whose main product, in fact, is a software for multimedia presentations, called Express.
Express features include the ability to import files from other programs, such as PowerPoint, make them more compact, convert them into Flash allowing their distribution via the Internet and on the network with HTML support. Using Express, therefore, it is possible, therefore, not only to have presentations available, complete with audio, in a popular and universal format such as Flash, but also to share the same presentations on the local and remote network without bandwidth commitment.
Express will join the division to which Contribute belongs, the tool for the production of Web pages that stands out for its simplicity and accessibility.
