MacExpo, the event held in London since this year with the official support of Apple, will have a "cousin" edition in Germany and more precisely in Cologne.
The announcement came today from the same company that organizes the British event, MacExpo Events Ltd.
The German MacExpo will be held from June 23 to 25 in Hall 6 of the Koelnmesse, seven km from Bonn / Cologne airport and will be completely dedicated to the digital hub and solutions for Mac.
At the moment it is not known whether Apple will officially participate with a stand, but it is possible that the German fair will be taken seriously by the managers of Apple Europe, given the success of the British edition and given that Germany is the second largest European market for sales. of computers.
Admission will be free for the first 3,000 users who register on the MacExpo site; for all the others the daily entry must be purchased at 15 euros for adults and 8 euros for or over 12 years.
The organizer looks forward to around six thousand visitors for this first edition.
Recall that, while Mac events are multiplying in Europe, in the USA Apple's fundamental presence at traditional Macworld Expo is under discussion, while in Japan the equally traditional Macworld Expo in Tokyo has already been canceled. Maybe that the old continent will become a conquest ground for those who organize fairs?
