In recent days we have told you about the discount applied by Facebook to the virtual reality viewer Oculus Go, emphasizing how this type of device has not really managed to impose itself. We don't know how Sony will behave with the new PlayStation 5, whether or not it will launch a new viewer, but if there is someone who has undoubtedly decided to develop one Lenovo.
The Chinese company among the leaders in the production of personal computers and mobile devices has decided to continue to invest also in virtual reality. After Mirage Solo, still on the market and on offer on Amazon with fast shipping, has sent a request to the US Federal Commission for Communications (FCC) for the registration of a new device, Lenovo VR3030S, described as the new viewer for virtual reality.
We know it would be a stand-alone viewer, like the Oculus Go, but it is not clear which platform it could be connected to. The Mirage Solo inextricably linked to the now defunct Google platform, Daydream VR, and there is no clue as to the direction Lenovo has taken with this new device.
