With iDante – La Divina Commedia turns into a touch ebook and arrives in an optimized version on iPad. Recall that about a week ago the Sole 24 Ore released the version of iDante for the iPhone on the App Store: the new one for iPad inherits a lot from the smartphone version but has been completely redesigned to make the most of ergonomics, the larger screen and the Apple tablet resolution.
In addition to rereading Dante's immortal work, iPad users can scroll through all the 70 main episodes visually thanks to the 500 recolored illustrations of Dor, in high resolution on the tablet screen. The larger screen of the iPad also made it possible to view the synoptic maps of Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso and for each song the position of the reader within the Dante world is displayed: almost a "google maps" or "around me" of the Underworld .
The exploration of the 3 realms of the underworld made even easier thanks to the contents and interactive images, with 360-degree reconstructions of the most engaging environments. Finally, it is easier on iPad to navigate in Hell, Purgatory and Paradise thanks to the complete 3D models in which the user can freely navigate.
iDante for iPad – The Divine Comedy available on the App Store for 10.99 euros.
