IBM focuses on wireless
The launch of IBM's new ThinkPad models will focus on wireless capabilities. According to some sources, the possibility of connecting wirelessly is one of the most important marketing topics that Big Blue will propose in the context of the launch of the laptops. The two laptops, which will be characterized by having the new low-energy Pentium III processors, will integrate a WiFi connectivity system, the same as Airport. Over the past few months, wireless connectivity has become a fundamental factor in deciding, or not, the success of a laptop. In the USA there are more and more structures, hotels, airports, stations, offices, which offer the possibility of connecting machines equipped with WiFi systems both in LAN and on the Internet.
