To transfer eBooks to your Kindle, you can use the free and open source app for managing eBooks, called Caliber. The application, available on Windows, Mac and Linux, easy to use and has many useful features to manage an eBook library

The best part of Caliber that takes care of format conversion: You don't have to worry about downloading files in the MOBI format (which is the default Amazon Kindle eBook format). Even if you have an ePub eBook open, Caliber will convert the eBook for you before transferring it to your Kindle, provided you are using a DRM-free eBook (Digital Rights Management).

Download and install Caliber

Go to the Caliber website for download the app on your laptop and after downloading you can follow the guided process of installation app. The first step is to choose a location for yours Caliber bookcase. You can go to the default location or click on the "Edit" button to choose a different folder. If you plan to manage your entire eBook library via Caliber, we recommend using a folder Dropbox or iCloud Drive to store your library.
