LG Electronics has unveiled the latest jewels in the Home Entertainment sector at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas, fielding a series of interesting innovations in the Smart TV sector. Spearhead and the new 55-inch OLED TV, which inaugurates a new era in the quality of image and design. LG is the first company to announce the availability of OLED TVs on the Korean market since the first week of February and is preparing to play a leading role in a market where it is expected to reach 7.2 million units by 2016 (according to data reported by DisplaySearch).

The OLED panel's ability to shine with its own light also ensures optimal color fidelity.

After last year's CES debut, LG EM9700 from 55 it has received acclaim and awards: nominated Best Show at CES 2012, it has won the European Display Achievement Award conferred by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) and the Silver International Design Excellence Award (IDEA). OLED TV will be available on the Italian market by April 2013.

As for CINEMA3D and SmartTV, the company presented new models equipped with Smart Control for intelligent content control with the Smart Home interface and the renewed Magic Remote device. The My Interest Card option with the interface allows you to customize the screen, for example with information on the weather or the most interesting news. The Magic Remote keeps the basic characteristics of the previous version, but it has improvements in the control of the contents and of the navigation menu for an even simpler interaction.

LG also presented Voice Mate, advanced version of the voice-controlled technology capable of recognizing the natural flow of language: a new voice search option that simultaneously filters the search results from the entire Smart TV platform.

Flexibility in content management is summarized by the function SmartShare, which allows the mirroring or transfer of files, photos, music and videos from smartphones and tablets or to enjoy other content through different connection modes, including WiDi, NFC and Miracast. The TV in the living room then becomes the docking TV, the hub of multimedia content.

The new range of CINEMA 3D Smart TVs will be available in Italy from the second quarter of 2013.
