Canabalt updates and arrives on iPad – Macitynet.it
The SemiSecret team released a new update a few hours ago for Canabalt, a game that has had universal success in its Flash version and that landed long ago also on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It is a patch that adds a series of interesting news, starting from the long-awaited iPad support. The resolution and amplitude of the scenario in sight have now been adapted to the new screen size, although the control remains exactly the original one: the protagonist of the game will never stop and the only thing the player can do is touch the screen to jump from one building to another. The score, equivalent to the distance traveled in meters, can be shared with your friends on Twitter or recorded in an online ranking.
The update also corrects some bugs and makes the application compatible with iOS 4, but another interesting novelty represented by the new and excited background music. Also created by the musician DannyB, the new song can be selected directly from the main menu, by touching the title in the upper right corner. Recall that Canabalt can be purchased on the App Store at a cost of € 2.39.
