Bitzhead supporter Audio Unit – Macitynet.it
BitHeadz Inc. announced today that it will soon add support for the Audio Unit standard in Mac OS X.
Several months ago BitHeadz was one of the first audio software companies to offer support for Mac OS X in their products, and the next step will be to also support Apple's plug-in standard, namely Audio Units.
At the moment, the BitHeadz products, namely Unity 3.0, Phrazer 2.0 and Phrazer LE, work in stand-alone mode in Mac OS X. The new AU support will allow you to integrate them into a sequencer compatible with Mac OS X and that supports AU, such as Logic.
Audio Unit support will appear in Unity 3.1, which will be released as a free update in the first quarter of 2003.
