New MacBooks and Mac Pros for Apple at WWDC 2012

During the WWDC 2012, which will take place in a few days, Apple will present several novelties and completely renew its Mac Pro and MacBook Pro line, therefore both fixed and portable computers.

Many expected big news from Apple for this presentation, and Cupertino seems not to want to disappoint expectations.

New Mac Pros

First of all, let's analyze what could be the new technical features of the new Mac Pro, Apple's fixed PCs.

According to some rumors (9t05Mac), in fact, Apple plans to present 3 new Mac Pro models.

At the moment the complete details of the new models are not known, but, in all probability, they will be characterized by the presence of:

– AMD graphics

– CPU Intel Xeon E5 Ivy Bridge

– Thunderbolte USB 3.0 port

As we said, unfortunately at the moment we have no other details about it.

More interesting news, however, come from the MacBook Pro front, where it seems that the characteristics of one of the new models are already available on the net.

New MacBook Pro

As for Apple's new professional laptops, we note how the possible technical characteristics are:

– 13.3 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display

– Intel HD 4000 graphics card

– Ivy Bridge Intel processors

– Thunderbolt port and USB 3.0 port

– 4 Gb of RAM

– 500 GB HDD.

The weight will be more or less identical to that of the current model (only 0.02 kg more), as well as the design seems to remain unchanged.

The news does not end here, however.

Apparently, in fact, Apple will also present the new ones MacBook Pro with the long-awaited Retina Display. These are the probable characteristics:

– display with 2560 √ó 1600 resolution

– 16GB of 1,600MHz DDR3 RAM memory

– AMD Radeon HD 7770M graphics with 2GB of VRAM
