The priority list, a new iPad booking method, lands in Italy at the Apple Stores of Carugate and Rome. To signal the activation of the system that allows you to be notified of the arrival of a reserved iPad and then go to buy it, Stefano Corbetta, a Macitynet reader.
The procedure, in practice, allows you to choose an iPad model to be notified when they will be available again. The chosen model (it is possible to indicate only one) will be kept aside and the customer will be sent an email to notify him of availability: these will therefore have about 24/30 hours of time (practically within the closing time of the day after receiving the email) to go to the cashier with a copy of the printed email and collect and pay for your iPad. After the deadline, the model kept aside will be offered for sale. and the reservation will no longer be valid.
The booking procedure can only be performed by appearing in person in the shop (you must enter your personal data or your Apple ID and password) and not – for example – on the phone.
The priority list represents a quick (and intelligent) procedure to find the iPad by optimizing resources; for example and in front of the arrival of the iPad in a shop, be it an Apple Premium Reseller or a department store, the online order can in fact be quickly and easily canceled (payment is made only on delivery) and a reservation "not used "The Store still grants the opportunity to purchase a short time later to someone else.
To those who were wondering what the availability is, Stefano reports that currently only Wi-Fi models are left at the Apple Store in Corbetta); diffico that they arrive within the week, while the delivery of a new stock is very likely next week (June 7-12).
