Apple SIM ready to land also in Italy. In fact the house of the bitten apple has recently made an agreement with GigSky, company specialized in mobile telephony services and will allow use the Apple SIM in over 90 countries around the world, including Italy.
So soon owners of iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 with the pre-installed Apple SIM will be able to purchase packages to be able to surf the internet all over the world by paying a fixed amount. Thanks to this agreement, Apple SIM will soon be on sale in the Apple stores in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey.
So after England and America the Apple SIM finally comes to us but going to take a look at the prices it would seem anything but economic. In fact the price list of GigSky, which varies by country, we will have 3 days of internet and 40 MB of data traffic cost 10 euros and if we want 3GB to be consumed in 30 days we will have to pay 50 euros, therefore rates not within everyone's reach.
So it will no longer be necessary to purchase a SIM to navigate in a specific country but the change can be made directly by the application and therefore eliminate the complications and additional costs of the international roaming with a simple and flexible solution. Below are the Italian prices which are the same as those of other European countries.
I think the Apple SIM is really revolutionary but you have to find a price square because 10 euros to have only 75MB seem too much to me.
