From tomorrow a group of Apple employees will have to look for a new job. This was confirmed by the News.com website which announced overnight that part of the employees of the iServices division would currently be undergoing restructuring, will be laid off.
iServices is a service company that essentially deals with the creation of Internet sites and the creation of Web services for third-party companies. It is difficult to say whether the decision to lay off part of the employees could be a worrying negative signal for the Mac company or (more presumably) a course correction in this specific field among all Apple's activities which, among others things, it was recently born in Italy too. We remember that Jobs and Fred Anderson, on recent occasions, have argued that the crisis that hit Cupertino's sales between the end of last year and the beginning of the current one would not have given as I hesitate to lay off staff.
